Important Information – COVID Policy
How the salon has changed What to expect from your treatment and what to do.
As you read through this please keep in mind that these measures are for all of our safety, and although this can seem a little strict and unfamiliar, We can completely assure you that the salon will still be the warm and friendly place you once knew, just little different.
All appointments must be pre-booked. There is a ‘no walk in’s’ policy, so please book ahead. We can only provide the service you have booked for, so no ‘Can you just’ unless you have pre-booked them.
You will receive a pre-screening call from reception prior to your appointment. This will usually take place 24/48 hours before. Or Saturday for Tuesday appointments.
Please arrive at the time of your appointment (not early). Treatments may be refused (but paid for in full) if you are late. Bring only what you need for the treatment. Minimise coats, bags, no shopping etc.
Only people receiving treatment on the premises can attend – no children, partners etc
We provide consultations for certain treatments eg IPL, Laser, Advanced Electrolysis and Facial treatment(s) when you can’t decide what to have?
All these will now be contactless, we will call/video call and get you to send pictures before making a booking for patch tests or treatment.
If you’ve had these treatments before, you don’t need a consultation and therefore you are fine to go ahead and book these.
When you arrive the gate will be closed. Please enter at your appointment time. Sanitise and wash hands before entering the reception. A sanitising unit can be found at the bottom of the stairs on the handrail and by the reception door. The bathroom is available for handwashing.
We now have our NHS QR scanner positioned around the salon for you to use inline with track and trace.
You will be taken straight to your treatment room/area. There is no reception seating/waiting or lounge in use.
Water in disposable cups can be provided but please bring your own hot drink if desired.
No magazines, leaflets or reading material will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own for treatment processing times such as Universal Contour Wraps.
The bathroom will be available and cleaned after each use.
We can accept cash but would prefer contactless or card payment. We can also take pre-payment over the phone.
Future appointments have to be arranged over the phone or via email. Online Booking is also NOW available. Please note that we are only sending email appointment confirmations. (no text reminders)
We are working at a reduced capacity with only 2 therapists in at one time so your contact will only be with your therapist and possibly a receptionist during your visit – not other guests or therapists.
All services have incurred a price increase (except GELeration nails*). Our price increase was due in April not just because of COVID-19. No extra surcharge for PPE will be taken on top of your treatment
Yes, of course! You can use our online shop with free delivery or we can arrange a collection appointment for you at any time during our opening hours.
There is no tester area available to try products/retail items at this time. However, if you do wish to take any products away after your treatment we can prepare this for you.
We have had a Health and Safety inspector to the salon who has talked us through and implemented our risk assessments and thoroughly checked all areas of the salon and procedures for each treatment.
We will be wearing masks and a visor or goggles for every treatment. In addition, we will also be wearing aprons and gloves for treatments which require them
It is now mandatory for you to wear a face-covering in shops so please come prepared.
We are giving ourselves extra time before/after treatments for a full room/area clean/wipe down. We also have a Fogger system in place for sanitising material chairs and soft furnishings etc.
Facials and massage rooms/treatments
There is no bedding like our luxurious duvets etc in the past so wear warm, comfortable clothing, easily assessable for us to perform the treatment. Towels, Headbands etc will still be provided and washed at high temperature per person or Feel free to bring your own blanket.
Eye Treatments
As a precaution, we are re-patch testing EVERYONE for Henna and Tint 48 hours before treatment.
Also If you have had a vaccination, you will need to wait 2 weeks for your patch test. This is to ensure that side effects of vaccination are not mistaken for a patch test reaction.
Hand and foot treatments
Disposable, single-use files will be used. Tools and equipment will all be disinfected and sterilised, as before. We will be asking you to bring back nail buffers used in the treatment as the environment can’t cope with how many we would get through!
Waxing
As before and we will provide disposable underwear as always for Intimate Waxing. However, we cannot provide the feminine wipes.
Sunbed
The Sunbed and room will be cleaned down before/after each session. Disposable Eye protection provided as always. There are no wipes, deodorants etc provided at this time, but please feel free to bring your own.
And Finally
Please feel free to ask away with any questions that you may have, there’s a lot to take in!
We cant wait to see you and welcome you back. We hope this all reassures you that we are doing everything in our power to keep you and the FFbabes as safe as possible yet still providing a place of relaxation and pampering with amazing service in an environment of calm, clean utopia.
